About Garth Watson
Garth Watson was a tireless volunteer for VOS Theatre whose passion and focus was set construction and the technical aspects of theatre. The scholarship was created to encourage students of carpentry or those who wish to study the technical aspects of theatre at a Post-Secondary level.
The Scholarship
The Watson Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating Secondary School student from any of the Secondary schools in Northumberland County who will be studying at a Post-Secondary School or entering into an accredited apprenticeship. The award is $500.
How to Donate
Donations may be made by mailing a cheque to VOS THEATRE PO Box 274, Cobourg, ON K9A 4K8 (please mark memo line Garth Watson Scholarship). Please include your name and address and a receipt will be forwarded to you.

How to Apply
Applicants should download the application. This application should be completed and emailed back to VOS THEATRE at theatre@vostheatre.com
The winner of the Watson Scholarship will be notified in June, 2024. The award will be presented at the VOS THEATRE Annual General Meeting in June 2024.
The winner must provide proof of acceptance at a Post-Secondary Institution or Apprenticeship program.
